Hello, I'm Mark
I've written all my life. As a child, I can recall writing my diary in newspaper form -- "Mark in grazed knee horror" read one of the front pages.
When I left school, I became a trainee reporter with the local paper, then freelanced, then got into corporate communications. I've spent 19 years trying to improve the communications of various companies.
In my spare time I've written scripts for radio, TV and corporate films. I think I'm a pretty good writer, I mean, I've been gainfully employed for over 20 years and won awards and stuff.
I think I was a bit of a subversive once and I'd like to rediscover that instinct once more.
Right now I'm writing a couple of books. One about my profession, corporate communications in the modern workplace. The other, a children's story.
I hope that one or both of these will be published, and if they are, then this is the place where you'll be able to read more about how and where to get hold of them.
In the meantime, check out the Resources area for interesting titbits and downloads. Right now, you download for free a story for pre-teens and the first chapter of my book for teenagers. |
